Design 2021 45 Knot Motoryacht Kalamoun
This is an interesting yacht that was designed by Sparkman & Stephens in 1970. The styling was executed in conjunction with the famous automobile design house of Pininfarina of Italy. She is all aluminum and was built by Abeking & Rasmussen of Germany. She is powered by twin 20 cylinder MTU V672 engines, each with output of 3,500 horsepower and producing a top speed of 45 knots, impressive for 1970. Special attention was paid to lightweight engineering and construction to achieve the target speed.
