Sailing Yacht Odyssey Design 155
Here is another fine yacht built by the Henry Nevins yard of City Island, New York. She is an 88'-7" yawl launched in 1938. In 1942 the U.S. Navy acquired her and renamed her Saluda, and she remained in service for 36 years. She was used for radar and sonar testing over her career.
In 1978 she was retired, declared surplus and was obtained by the Mount Rainier Council of Boy Scouts and has been used ever since as a training vessel for Sea Scouts. Her original name has been restored.
Here are the plans.
